Photoshop for me does the same thing, Scott. You cannot combine pages of PDFs, each has to be their own image, unfortuately. However, why then would you want to make them PDF files and not JPEG files? Are the PDF files smaller?

PDF files are easier for sharing and printing. They don't require you to download individual JPEGs, and they don't require you to take an additional step to unzip a collection of JPEGs either. Since nearly everyone has access to Adobe Acrobat Reader, and printing from Acrobat is quick and easy, the PDF format is one of the best and quickest ways to share images, especially in this community.

BUT, I just discovered the wonderful-ness of Scribus for Windows. I had a false impression of just what exactly GIMP was intended to do. I was under the impression that GIMP could be used to layout a 6-page document of card images, and it's just not equipped to do that. It is simply a bitmap editor...end of story (I am now thinking of it as MSPaint, but on steroids...or at least after having spent years in the weight room). But Scribus on the other hand...it's a layout program, and it is designed specifically to layout pages of "stuff", and in my case, pages of images! So, I can still create my individual pages of cards in GIMP, but then string them together and export them to PDF in Scribus...and Scribus allows me to adjust the compression settings to get smaller PDFs without sacrificing much in print quality (hopefully). I just spent the entire afternoon figuring this all out. At least this is a much better way than using MSWord (or worse yet, OpenOffice Writer these days) to layout my individual card images. And what's even cooler? Scribus is open source, and a free download. smile.gif

OH, and Robert, apparently the latest version of Photoshop WILL allow you to export multiple pages of PDF...at least, that's what the online forums seem to imply.

Long story short, I've resolved the issue of giant PDF files. Uploading commencing...

Well, for some reason the uploader on epicduels.com doesn't seem to be working. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it won't upload the PDF (it's about 4MB now). I tried it twice, but it isn't showing up in the directory. Any ideas?
