Final Thoughts, The last EU thread.

Well we're finally done. See it all at dorkistan.com/Games/EpicDuels/EU/. The VASSAL extension is forthcoming. If you were part of the discussion and would like to have something about yourself on the Credits page, here is the place to post it.

I'd like to publicly thank Sultan for all his hard work in making this expansion happen. He spent countless hours building card images to layout the PDFs and the VASSAL extension, not to mention being the leader that kept this thing going over 6 months, and he deserves our gratitude. Let's all give him a virtual round of applause!

He also conceived and laid the groundwork for the Epic Duels Online League, and helped with the initial design push on the Wiki. His various contributions to the Epic Duels universe are summarized here. When not dueling, Rich writes, films, and acts in things that he hopes will make people laugh.

I would like to see some recognition on those of us who may not have contributed to the degree that Sultan, Rich and Scott did. Maybe at the bottom of the credits page, you could list my name and some others.

This might be a little vain, lol:

General recognition is found on the first page of every PDF, and in the the first paragraph of the Credits page. To get your name on the Credits page you have to post what you want written here.

Also, I personally am not interested in going through each thread and finding out who all the contributors were, but if someone else did it I'd be willing to post all those names. But such a tactic is an iffy subject - consider docmogs who contributed but can hardly be said to be part of the design team. Or consider Raistlin - I chatted more than once on IM with him about these decks and maps - his advice was valuable, but I do not think he posted to the EU section of the forum at all. The solution then, as I see it, is to invite everyone who participated to include themselves on the credits page.

Ok, in that case, please add the below...

John Sandora, "Obi-Wan John", has created three Unofficial Star Wars expansions and helped in the creation of two others. He has contributed many decks, maps and ideas. John is less active in the community these days and hopes to return to playing in the future. All of OWJ's work can be found on the Epic Duels Wiki.

I've been gone too long. So much has changed, and the ED community has reorganized and released a very good expansion. I wish I could have participated, but that will hopefully happen next time! Congrats everyone!
